The domaine is located in the village of Saint Christol within the Coteaux du Languedoc, adjacent to the Pic St Loup. The domaine is owned by the Guinaud brothers, who create a soft velvety red from Rhone varietals Syrah and Mouvedre.
Tasting Notes
The village of St Christol, near Nimes, is considered to produce red wines of a special quality within the Languedoc appellation. The wine is a blend from Syrah, Carignan and Mourvedre and is a soft velvety red with a floral bouquet of violets and red berries and a dominance of spicy Syrah on the palate. This is a wonderful example of the amazing quality that is coming from the more inspired Languedoc wine makers.
Food
Perfect with grilled meats, sausages, snails and most cheeses.
