Region

From the hill of Corton running south to the town of Beaune and Santenay at it`s tip, the Côte de Beaune represents the southern half of the vineyards of Côte d`Or. It is famous for its mix of Grand and Premier Cru white and red wines including Montrachet, Corton, Puligny, Pommard and Volnay.
Tasting Notes
This elegant perfurmed 1er Cru Savigny preserves the complex raspberry fruit flavours, distinct mineral character and power inherited from the iron rich soil. The inclusion of some stems created an inticing, smoky nose which draws you in to enjoy this wine which is well-balanced and smooth on the palate.
Food
Try with game dishes such as Duck with a blueberry sauce, wild Guinea Fowl or Turkey.
