Isabelle Doudet represents the third generation of this family estate established in the 1930s. Following her studies in the legal world, she decided to return to her passion which is viticulture and winemaking obtaining her diploma as an oenologist technician at the Jules Guyot University Institute in Dijon. Today, the Isabelle Doudet estate has 13 hectares of vines, covering 15 appellations all located around the iconic Corton hill. The whole Domaine is cultivated using sustainable methods, with controlled yields, organic treatments and light ploughing to preserve the overall balance in the vineyards ant its ecosystem. The vines on the estate are relatively old, up to 70 years and they feel it important to stick to the traditions, maintaining ploughing with their horses and working the vines by hand.
