Domaine Besson is a family-owned estate located in Givry in the Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy. It has 8.40 hectares of vines, and practices sustainable agriculture, certified level 3 HVE. It has been property of the Besson family since the 1930s and headed by Guillemette and Xavier Besson since 1989. They focus on creating wines which are the true expression on the terroir and make some of the few white wines that are made in Givry.
Tasting Notes
A classic Givry made from Pinot Noir; pale ruby in colour with a perfumed nose. The palate is clean and elegant, medium bodied with notes of redcurrants, red plum and a perfumed note with a chalky, mineral character. Silky tannins add structure to the wine which finishes elegant and refined.

Serve with roast game and polenta.
