Region
The Jerez Region is situated in the north-eastern corner of the province of Cádiz, in the extreme south of the Iberian peninsular. Jerez de la Frontera is the largest city in the area and capital of the wine region to which it lends its name, just a few kilometres from Jerez, stands the historic town of El Puerto de Santa María and completing the `Sherry Triangle` is the home of Manzanilla; Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
Tasting Notes
100% Palomino, this Fino sherry is a true expression of Jerez de la Frontera. It spent four years in a Solera system under flor which gives it its distinctive character. Pale straw in colour with a typical nose of biological ageing, lemon and almonds. The palate is delicate and dry with notes of salted almonds, white peach and lemon zest. Well balanced and fresh leaving a crisp impression in the mouth.
Food
Best served chilled with tapas and olives. Serve well chilled between 6 and 8 degrees.
