The fog influenced Napa Valley is home to many of California’s premium wineries. This famous valley around the natural springs of Oakville, includes the thin strip of soil known as the Rutherford Bench where some of the state’s most highly prized vineyards are planted. It is where great Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay are grown and sublime Pinot Noirs from the southern Carneros end of the valley.

Founded in 2006, Ca’ Momi Napa Valley is run by three Italians. Dario De Conti, Valentina Guolo-Migotto and Stefano Migotto. From the winery and vineyards in Carneros, and featuring hand-selected fruit from across the Napa Valley, Ca’ Momi wines represent the best of both worlds. Napa Valley fruit carefully crafted by the heritage and obsessive care of Old World winemaking.
Tasting Notes
This is a lovely refreshing example of a Napa Valley Chardonnay. The grapes are from the cool sub region of Carneros and fruit is harvested at night to retain freshness, with protective vinification in steel to create a fresh vibrant wine. The wine has aromas of pear with a subtle hint of vanilla. On the palate, a delightfully creamy texture is balanced with acidity, while the fruit flavours shine through including apple, lemon, and tropical notes. The finish is pleasantly persistent, with the fruit flavours lingering on the palate.
