Region

‘Wines of Italy’ are wines made from a blend of grapes from multiple reasons to achieve the best quality and balance at great value.

Producer

The company was born as a retailer in 1928 in the Veneto region for sales of wines in casks and demi-johns to restaurants and small retailers. The company is now run by the third generation and from their roots in Veneto they now have a portfolio of wines produced in some of Italy’s finest regions. Botter pride themselves on their focus of sustainability, going beyond reducing emissions, production of waste and non-renewable energy usage and taking a responsible approach for the whole production chain.
Tasting Notes
This superb example of a dry Chardonnay, made protectively in steel tanks to preserve the fresh fruit characteristics. With scents of apricot and honey on the nose, yet due to the warm Mediterranean climate, the palate shows strong exotic and tropical fruit overtones. A rich and well-structured wine with a crisp acidity and a refreshing finish.
Food
Ideal accompaniment to seafood salads, fish and shellfish based pasta and rice courses. Perfect with white meats, boiled or grilled fish and with soufflé.
