The origins of Domaine Louis Latour stretch as far back as 1768 from the village of Aloxe-Corton. The Domaine, still centred on this tiny village, has since grown to become a collection of the finest vineyards in the region, today totalling almost 50 hectares and embracing the most extensive array of Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy, with 17 of these hectares located in Corton.
Tasting Notes
Domaine de Valmoissine is located on the site of the ancient monastery and university of Valmoissine at 500 metres above sea-level. A classic, Burgundian Pinot Noir; red berry fruits on the nose with a soft and harmonious palate. Supple tannins combine with red fruit flavours and a hint of sweet spice. Elegant and well balanced.
