We’re very excited to share some news with you that marks an important milestone for us at Ellis Wines.

Yesterday, we had the chance to celebrate together as a team at our Annual General Meeting, where we announced that we had officially became B Corp Certified as of November 2025. It was a proud moment for everyone involved, and a great opportunity to reflect on the journey we’ve been on as a business and the collective effort that’s gone into reaching this point.

We achieved B Corp certification with a B Impact Score of 84.8, recognising the standards we meet across our people, our community, our customers, our governance and our environmental impact. Our sister company, Richmond Wine Agencies, is also included within the certification.

As a family business founded more than 200 years ago, we’ve always believed in building long-standing relationships, doing business the right way and taking responsibility for the impact we have beyond the wines we sell. Becoming a B Corp formalises values that have long guided how we operate.

This certification reflects a journey we’ve been on for some time. Alongside responsible sourcing and long-term producer partnerships, we’ve invested heavily in our team and taken practical steps to reduce our environmental footprint. This has included achieving verified Carbon Neutral status in 2023, as well as ongoing improvements across our logistics, including investment in electric vehicles and the use of HVO fuel across a majority of our delivery fleet.

For us, becoming a B Corp isn’t an endpoint. It’s a framework that helps us measure what we do, holds us accountable and encourages us to continue improving for our team, producers, customers and the wider community.
