COVID-19 and Ellis Wines planning from Friday 27th March
Dear Valued Customers
Ellis is classified as a food distributor and thus we remain open for business. We currently have little or no face to face contact with our customers that continue to buy wine, in an attempt to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
As you will understand, what business we are doing is a small percentage of the norm and our staff remain our key consideration. Thus, we have decided to reduce the number of people working to a level that allows us to service our orders and keeps the risk to a minimum. We have also decided to close the business for two days per week, being Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Orders processed on Monday will be delivered on Wednesday or be dispatched by a third-party carrier on Monday for delivery Tuesday/Wednesday.
- Orders processed on Wednesday will be delivered Thursday or put on a third-party carrier for delivery Thursday/Friday.
- Orders processed on Thursday will be delivered Monday or put on a third-party carrier for delivery Friday.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff for their devotion and loyalty to Ellis during these uncertain times.
