We have two, new, exciting roles that could be for you.
We are currently recruiting for a London Based Sales Manager and a London Based Sales Manager with a focus on the fine dining sector.
We are an independent, family run, specialist wine merchant based near Twickenham, Middlesex, representing award winning producers from around the world. We supply to a diverse customer base in the hospitality sector in London, the south east and around the country.
We champion exceptional customer service and are continually developing our portfolio to meet the demands of our on-trade customers.

London Sales Manager
Salary: competitive + rewarding commission system
Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a highly talented, charismatic and driven sales person to join our London sales team.
What’s the role?
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, targeting and developing new business in London. As part of a successful team, you will be contributing to the continued success and growth of the company.
You will:
- Build relationships between Ellis Wines and their customers.
- Develop and manage accounts to optimise wine sales and profitability.
- Champion our brand and core values to customers and producers alike.

What are we looking for?
You must have:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in working in the on-trade market, with a proven sales record.
- Great contacts and relationships with On Trade customers in London.
- A passion for wine, educated to a minimum of WSET Level 3.
- Excellent verbal, written, numerical and IT skills, with strong attention to detail.
- An outgoing and personable manner, with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Confidence and an ability to work independently.
- Drive and energy.
- Determination to succeed.
London Fine Dining Sales Manager
Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a very well-connected chef sommelier or highly experienced fine dining sales person to join our London sales team. Ideally you have a wealth of experience and contacts within the fine dining sector.
What’s the role?
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, targeting and developing new business in the fine dining sector in London. As part of a successful team you will be contributing to the continued success and growth of the company.
You will:
- Build relationships between Ellis Wines and our customers.
- Develop and manage accounts to help optimise wine sales and profitability.
- Champion our brand and core values to customers and producers alike.

What are we looking for?
You should have:
- A minimum of five years’ experience in working with Fine dining on-trade customers in London with a proven sales record or a very well connected chef sommelier or Master Sommelier with a minimum of 10 years’ experience working in the fine dining sector.
- Great contacts and relationships within the fine dining sector in London.
- A strong passion for wine and educated to WSET Level 4 or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal, written, numerical and IT skills, with strong attention to detail.
- An outgoing and personable manner, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Confidence and an ability to work independently.
