It`s 12ha of limestone garrigue are planted with red and white Rhone varieties, traditionally vinified with maticulous care from low yields.
Tasting Notes
A rare aromatic white Rhône made from the Viognier grape variety that is both subtle and seductive, exhibiting fragrant peach and apricot aromas, well balanced with exotic fruit and fresh acidity. René Rostaing is a master of Condrieu and Côte Rôtie, two tiny neighbouring appellations planted on the steep granite slopes that rise above the northern Rhône town of Ampuis.
Food
Enjoy the delicate aromas when partnered with crab salad, seared scallops in lime, asparagus with poached duck egg, seabass in Asian spices or cold white meats.
