Famille Deroose are a Flemish family who bought 4 hectares of vineyards in Corbieres 2010. Since then, they have extended their domaine to 17 hectares in the minicipalities of Luc sur Orbieu, Boutenac and Ferrals les Corbieres.
Tasting Notes
100% Caladoc, a crossing of Grenache Noir and Malbec which was created in the Languedoc in 1958. Deep ruby in colour with oppulent bramble notes on the nose. The palate is soft and round with blackberry, black cherry and damson notes which combine with a long chocolatey finish and juicy tannins.
Food
Best served with cassoulet, sausages, rabbit and lamb.
