June is the month of Pride
Each June, LGBTQ+ communities are celebrated and various parades, picnics, workshops, concerts take place to achieve equal justice and opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transitioning and questioning people, as well as highlighting the many positive impacts LGBTQ+ individuals have had, historically, locally, nationally, and internationally.
Black Elephant Vintners
Black Elephant Vintner's Chenin Blanc, The Power of Love came as a result of the turmoil in the world in recent years, from the COVID pandemic, to the Black Lives Matter movement and gender equality issues. With a desire to improve human rights across the globe, Black Elephant Vintners are donating 5% of proceeds to two charitable organisations out.org.za and africaunite.org.za
Giving for Pride
During this year's Pride month, Ellis Wines will be donating 50p per bottle sold of The Power of Love to LGBTQ+ charity, Stonewall - for any sales during June Pride month.
