Many of our loyal team have been with us over 20 years, proving both our dedication to our staff and their commitment to our customers.

What’s your highlight at Ellis Wines? It must be our Christmas dinner & karaoke night, so much fun. On a more serious note, I would have to say completing my wine courses along with the Annual Ellis Wine Tastings at Vintner Hall. Such an amazing place.

Favourite wine and why? I recently tried the Pauletts Trillians Sparkling Red, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy a cold sparkling red quite so much. Roll on summer BBQ’s

Do you have a nickname? If yes, please share. “Nanny Jo Jo” to my family, at school it was “Football” … DON’T ASK!

Hot or cold? Always HOT!

Celebrity crush: Keanu Reeves, Kevin Costner & Tom Hardy...I’m greedy, ha-ha.

Sweet or savoury? Both!

Dog or cat? The loyalty of a dog.

Dark chocolate, milk chocolate or white chocolate? Dark, as it tastes better.

Tea or coffee? Tea, nice and strong please.

Favourite day of the week: It must be a Sunday morning, tea and toast in bed with a good book.

How long does it take you get to get ready in the morning? Probably too long, hour or so.

Is your glass half full or half empty? Half Full, always!

Tell us your best joke: What’s black and white and red all over? It’s all I could think of 

What makes you happy? My lovely family and grandchildren.

Lifelong dream: To own a VW camper van and to go travelling.

How did you find yourself at Ellis? Ellis found me, well actually William did, I used to work for NatWest.

Biggest fear: Failure.

Best childhood memory: Sunny summers, on the beach eating Ice cream with my Dad.

Would you rather win the lottery or work the perfect job? Work the perfect job, winning the lottery would be great, then I could have my own business, be my own boss.

Do you collect anything? Crystals.

If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be? Life! As it can be so tough at times working it all out.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Down by the sea, I would love to be able to walk in the sand every day.

What’s your highlight at Ellis Wines? Ellis have been great at supporting me to upskill. Having these opportunities has been brilliant and I’m very grateful.

Favourite wine and why? Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos Chateau Pajzos because its super sweet and yummy.

Do you have a nickname? Not sure if you’d class it as a nick name but because my name’s hard to say it’s usually shortened to Rhea or ReRe.

Random fact: Fear of the number 13 is called triskaidekaphobia.

Favourite Harry Potter character: Luna Lovegood. The actress herself has such a sweet story to how she got her part in the films.

Dog or cat? Both!

Dark chocolate, milk chocolate or white chocolate? Cadburys Dark Milk chocolate bar is my favourite! 

Tea or coffee? Always tea.

Favourite day of the week: Friday after 5:30pm haha.

Your ‘go-to’ breakfast: Bowl of cereal with chopped up fruit on top.

What makes you happy? The little things in life, the good moments.

Lifelong dream? To create a happy life for myself.

Who would be your 2 dinner party guests (dead or alive)? Ricky Gervais & Einstein.

Best childhood memory? Summer holidays by the seaside.

What did you want to be when you were small? I wanted to be a vet because I love animals, but I changed my mind because I wouldn’t be able to operate on an animal or put them to sleep.

Would you rather win the lottery or work the perfect job? Win the lottery and then create my perfect job! 

Do you collect anything? I collect seashells from my favourite beach and others that I visit.

What animal would you be and why? A large bird because of their freedom to fly round the world.

If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be? Retaining knowledge, my memory is rubbish!

If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Anywhere warm and sunny with a beach.
