A is for... Azabache, our Rioja producer with whom we have partnered for nearly twenty years. Meet the lovely Juan Velilla at our tasting.
B is for... Blind wine competition, always a popular part of our tasting. Take part in the foyer at Vintner's Hall.
C is for... Cava from @Mont_Marcal who has taken the decision to vintage their wonderful Extremarium Cava. Taste this new cuvee at our tasting...
D is for... David Bruce Wines - a stunning premium Chardonnay and two equally stunning premium Pinot Noirs from Russian River and Sonoma.
E is for English wines, both still and sparkling. In these changing times, we should support our own growers and list their wines and fly the English flag.
F is for... Furmint with Chateau Pajzos being a superb example and can be found on the Ellis Wines Selection table.
G is for... Gamay, the principle grape varietal to be found in our selection from our new Beaujolais producers.
H is for… Hacienda el Ternero, another of our Rioja producers. ‘Ternero’ is Spanish for ‘calf’ which inspired their label design. Come and meet Julia at Vintners' Hall.
I is for... Italy. We have 10 producers attending our tasting from Italy. From sparkling to sweet, there is something for everyone.
J is for... JB Adam. J-B Adam is one of the oldest estates in Alsace, with 19 ha of organic vineyard in the Haut Rhin village of Ammerschwir.
K is for... Kaltern, our wonderful producer from Alto Adige. The 400 members of the co-operative manage a vineyard surface area totalling just 300 hectares high in the Alto Adige region of the Alps.
