Established in 1885, the Bougrier family has managed the winery for six generations. Famile Bougrier represents around 800 hectares of vineyards. This winery is based in the village of Saint-Georges-sur-Cher, in the heart of the Loire Valley, the most renowned region of Chenin Blanc.
Tasting Notes
A blend of Gamay Noir, Cabernet Franc and Grolleau, this rose is salmon pink in colour with aromas of strawberries and red cherries. The palate is off-dry in style with succulent fruit flavours and a soft and round mouthfeel. The slight sweetness in this wine is balanced perfectly by a refreshing acidity with a long finish of sweet red cherries.
Food
Ideal as an aperitif or when paired with poultry and summer salads.
